About course
This course takes you from the basics of Tableau to building professional dashboards. You’ll connect to spreadsheets and databases, clean and shape data, and understand relationships vs joins. You’ll create core visuals (bars, lines, maps, scatter) and advanced ones (dual axis, highlight tables, box plots). You’ll write calculated fields, table calculations (running totals, percent of total, moving averages), and LOD expressions (FIXED/INCLUDE/EXCLUDE) to get accurate results at any granularity. You’ll add parameters, sets, actions, and tooltips for interactivity. Finally, you’ll design clean dashboards with containers, device layouts, performance tips, and publish to Tableau Public/Server/Cloud.
